E-learning Classes
Basic Life Support CPR, Heartsaver CPR AED, and the combined Heartsaver CPR AED along with First Aid courses are now available as e-learning courses from the American Heart Association. All E Courses have a Part 2 with Hands On practice and testing.
Beware of bogus sites that pretend to supply you with online certifications. These will not be accepted in places that require certification.
The AHA blended e-learning differs from others; you are actually taking the course via AHA online course we provide upon registration, and then you come to our location to practice and test your practical skills. As an AHA training center, we provide you with the key code access to this website where you learn all the cognitive elements of your CPR course in your own time frame. That is part 1 of the process. The Link to access the AHA online course will be emailed to you upon your registration for the course.
Parts 2 and 3 are approximately a 3 hour session with HealthSav LLC where we review all the BLS material from the online course and you conclude on a RQI Manikin which is hooked up to a computer to factually grade and show you your progress as you practice.
- BLS Course – $135 (blended or full classroom course) ($110 if online previously purchased)
- Heartsaver CPR AED – $85 (blended or full classroom course)
- Prices include the key code for part 1, and the skills session (parts 2 and 3)
- E-learning modules will be available to the student for 24 months after the issuance of a certificate
- Those looking to renew their BLS can do so in one of two ways. You can either do the full BLS (Basic Life Support) course or the blended learning which comprises Part 1 online and then Parts 2 and 3 in the classroom with an instructor. The online access code will automatically be sent to you when you register on this website for the Online Basic Life Support with in class skills testing.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
HeartCode ACLS or PALS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the ACLS or PALS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or on a simulation station.
Access to the Provider Manual eBook (20-3102) is included within the HeartCode course.
HeartCode ACLS and PALS requires prior knowledge that will be applied in using the ACLS or PALS treatment algorithms. Additional time may be required to complete HeartCode ACLS or PALS if you are unprepared or inexperienced. To be successful in any ACLS or PALS course, you should be able to identify ECG rhythms and should know pharmacology specific to cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiopulmonary emergencies prior to beginning the course. It is strongly recommended that you review the ACLS or PALS course materials contained within the program and complete the Pre-course Self-Assessment before attempting the patient cases.
- ACLS or PALS including the online and in-class skill practice and testing – $275

Upon completion, all candidates must affiliate with an AHA training center and follow all AHA instructor protocols.
